· Weekly vealer and calf auctions are conducted on Mondays at 10.00am in the Woodford Saleyards along with the bi-weekly cattle sales being held on Friday at 12.00pm. · Action at the Woodford Saleyards commenced in 1908 and has continued to this day with only minor interruptions. · A strong buying panel attend the weekly auctions, this includes meat processing companies, meat wholesalers, individual traders and store buyers. This strong panel provides Vendors with excellent competition and financial rewards satisfactory to all parties. Stocks are drawn from Kilcoy, Manumbar, Dayboro, Mt Mee, Caboolture, Peachester and local areas. In addition to the weekly livestock sales, Mike Wheeler Livestock & Property conducts on property clearing sales and multi-vendor auctions of goods and chattels. |
